


I'm recording my current LP with Bandicam and I'm really happy with the results.

It also, like Dxtory, let's you record your mic in a separated audio channel which makes easier for editing. Bandicam has one big advantage over Dxtory that is the capability of area recording - it sure helps a lot to record those games that don't have a DirectX/OpenGL overlay, like Biding of Isaac (instead of having to record the aero desktop) and I noticed it's less resource intensive.Īlso, the default settings of Bandicam are pretty tame and have less quality than Fraps, but you change your settings to MPEG-1 20000 kbps it suddenly becomes nearly nearly-lossless quality at a better file-size:quality ratio than most settings I've seen.
